10th anniversary in 2006! |

The company was founded to encourage tourists to
discover Vienna by bike and to provide Vienna hotels and B&Bs with an
additional service for their guests. In the process, creating another
reason to visit Vienna. A way of combining culture with actively
experiencing the city.
Vienna offers an almost ideal setting: over 1,000 km of bike paths and
routes that provide easy and comfortable access to most of its main
sights.
Bike riding is becoming increasingly popular and one reason is that it
has no negative effects on the environment and another is its positive
effect on the health of the biker.
Viennese hotels and B&Bs of every category are our partners and our
company provides them with the possibility of increasing their range of
services for their guests. Those that work together with PEDAL POWER
receive folders, displays and posters in order to inform their guests.
The only thing we require is that they provide a safe place to keep the
bikes overnight.
We have come up with a few ideas in an effort to motivate tourists in
Vienna to use bikes. Firstly, PEDAL POWER delivers and collects
the bikes. For the first time, visitors in Vienna are being offered the
possibility of starting their bike tours directly from where they are
staying. Secondly, they are provided with high quality touring bikes.
Our bikes are ideal to comfortably and safely experience Vienna. To help
tourists easily find their way around the city, we have put together
tour descriptions and a special map, with the routes drawn in, and the
sights numbered. For example; Inner City Tour, Giant Ferris
Wheel-Prater-Hundertwasser House Tour, Viennese Music Tour, Danube
Island-Heurigen Tour, and Danube-Lobau-Nature Tour. These are provided
free of charge and in 8 languages.
Of course, bikes can also be picked up directly from the PEDAL POWER
office. Our location on the U1/U2 metro, near Prater (the largest park
in Vienna) and the Danube bike paths make it a perfect place to start
tours - and is especially safe for children.
We also offer guided bike tours. We meet in front of the Ferris Wheel
and in 3 unforgettable hours you see more of Vienna up close than others
see in 3 days |

| Reservations & Delivery |

| PEDAL POWER opens in March, daily from 9am to
6 pm, weather allowing or for advanced reservations. From May 1st to
October 31st, daily from 8am to 7pm. Reservations for individuals or
groups are possible 7 days a week, Sundays, and holidays included. |

PEDAL POWER has 70 high quality aluminum frame
touring bikes.
To provide the best possible comfort and safety the client can also
choose between different frame sizes plus the saddles are easily
adjustable.
All the bikes are completely equipped with lights, reflectors,
noise-free dynamos, back carriers, fenders, bike stands, and bells,
according to the strict standards set by Austrian law.

CITY BIKE TOUR: approx. 3 hours
The ideal way to see Vienna actively. Easy route on bike paths or on
streets with low density traffic. Some of the sights you see: the
Ringstraße, the City Park and golden Johann Strauß Monument, the State
Opera, the Hofburg (Habsburg winter residence), St. Stephan’s Cathedral,
the HundertwasserHaus, and the Ferris Wheel. Frequent stops to take
pictures. |

The Vienna City Segway Tour is a unique, innovative und exciting tour.
Imagine, gliding without effort through the parks, on bike paths and at
the same time receiving a complete orientation with historical and
present day information. And don’t forget the great photography stops.
Our 3 hour tours are limited in size assuring that you get a great and
unforgettable experience.
Our Day Tour provides an excellent orientation of Vienna, its history
and its beauty. An experience that's hard to match. We glide past the
Ferris Wheel, under the trees along the Ringstraße, past impressive
palaces and refreshing parks, past the golden Mozart statue, the State
Opera, Hofburg, Rathaus, and Saint Stephan's Cathedral.
The Night Glide:Enjoy Vienna lit up. Less tour, just let night
time Vienna flow around you. If you are familiar with Vienna’s history
this is the tour for you.
We start each tour with an approximate half hour training period.
This allows you to learn the “ways” of the Segway and gain assurance for
the tour. Only Segway trained guides are used for the tours |
