On an open space of 160,000 m² the car
terminal at Wiener Hafen offers room for 10,000 vehicles, 2,600 of which
may be stored in a roofed car storage building. A direct connection to
all expressways and to both the national and international railroad
network as well as two roll-on-roll-off ramps for ship loading and
unloading guarantee swift delivery and quick dispatch of the vehicles.

Wiener Hafen disposes of a total area of
3.5 million m². Thanks to the excellent connection to the regional and
international road and rail network more than 100 companies including
the most renowned shipping agencies set up business there.
Together with the companies located in the port area, Wiener Hafen is
the largest goods distribution center in Eastern Austria.
In the rental business the offer reaches from small offices to storage
areas with a surface of several thousand square meters, and from the
rental of parking areas for trucks to entire areas for business
operation.
Wiener Hafen also manages premises of third parties. |

The storage buildings at the free
warehouses of Wiener Hafen with an area of 70,000 m² are optimally
located between the urban expressway A23 and the A4 expressway.
Vienna’s city center may be reached by car in merely 12 minutes; the
central marshalling yard of Vienna-Kledering and the Vienna
International Airport are located in close vicinity.
A roofed crane facility allows for the loading of cargo directly to the
storage without being exposed to the elements. All storage areas are
connected to
the tracks.

The distribution center for branded
products is used by renowned companies. Goods with short storage lives
are dispatched via warehouses located at ground level, goods with long
storage lives or requiring special safety precautions are dispatched via
the central distribution.
The presence of large shipping agents at the business location of Wiener
Hafen provides an ideal cooperation platform for distribution logistics.
In addition Wiener Hafen also disposes of an open depot with a surface
of over 200,000 m². With its dispatch office for trucks and a police
station the main customs office Vienna guarantees both quick customs
clearance and a high degree of security. |

In the ports of Freudenau and Albern bulk
goods and general cargo such as agricultural products, building
materials, metals, brand-new vehicles as well as containers are
transshipped; the port of Lobau is the transshipment center for mineral
oil products. A new storage hall which has a capacity of more than
10.000 metric tons was built in the port of Freudenau.
Ten cranes with a loading capacity of 6 to 160 tons—three of which are
roofed facilities/indoor cranes—are available. The loading of passenger
cars and trucks is also possible by means of two
roll-on-roll-off-facilities. The quick and safe transshipment is taken
care of by trained personnel. |
